Hi, my name is Liora and I’ m so happy you have found my blog! I I am a twenty-something living and working in New York City. I started All Things Loveli as a way to share my love for cooking, baking, and photography, and as a new outlet to expand my creativity. I have always enjoyed being in the kitchen. I grew up with very health conscious parents and have childhood memories of hosting food co-ops at our house, munching on broccoli stalks, and begging for our favorite vegetable, artichoke, for dinner.
When I had to change to a Gluten Free diet about 6 years ago I slowly realized I had a great opportunity to explore new ways of cooking and baking and have loved discovering and experimenting with new ingredients and substitutions. The addition of other food sensitivities and allergies have pushed my resourcefulness as well as encouraged a sense of adventure, as I’ve remained dedicated to making and eating delicious food that allows me to feel that I’m not compromising at all. As an additional reward, I love the sense of satisfaction that comes with new recipes. I have always had a great appreciation for the beauty in food so it’s also the perfect subject for exploring the art of photography, and learning how to use my DLSR camera.
My philosophy when is comes to food has always been, “you are what you eat”, and that “food is the best medicine.” So, what I eat and is important to me. I draw inspiration from reading cookbooks, food magazines, and an endless roll of food blogs, and I am so excited to now be a part of the blogging world.
